NJ.com Announces Best Ice Cream Semi-Finalists
After tackling diners, burgers and Italian food, Peter Genovese at NJ.com has put his readers to the test in finding the best ice cream the Garden State has to offer. With 45,000 votes cast, the 40 semifinalists have been chosen including the top five regional (North, Central, South) vote-getters, plus 20 more chosen by Peter for a grand total of 40.
Genovese will now hit all the semi-finalists over the next weeks to determine the winner — a readers’ choice winner will also be chosen. A few places in the area did make the list: Bischoff’s in Teaneck, Ice Cream by Mike in Hackensack and Van Dyk’s in Ridgewood.
