For the twentieth consecutive year, The Bernards Inn, a luxury boutique hotel located in the Somerset Hills, is the only restaurant and hotel in New Jersey to receive AAA’s Four Diamond Award. It is now the longest tenured hotel in New Jersey to earn the prestigious rating.

Receiving the AAA Four Diamond award status are those establishments that are progressively more refined and stylish. The physical attributes reflect an obvious enhanced level of quality throughout. The fundamental hallmarks at this level  include an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail. Restaurants of this stature are often orchestrated by an executive chef with an accomplished staff and menus reflecting a high degree of  creativity and complexity, using imaginative presentations to enhance market-fresh ingredients.

“AAA Four Diamond Award winners are a cut-above the rest as they consistently deliver and demonstrate a strong desire to meet or exceed guest expectations,” said Tracy Noble, spokesperson for AAA Mid-Atlantic. “Only establishments that meet the extensive quality criteria required to become AAA Approved receive an AAA Diamond rating,” Noble stated.
