The weather is warm and it’s time to throw back a few cold ones. That is why Thrillist has shared their list of Best Summer Beers for Every State in America. While not necessarily the best beer crafted in each state, these brews were chosen for their ability to “take a summer day from good to great” – with availability in bottle or can also a key factor.

New Jersey was repped by Carton Brewing – based in Atlantic Highlands – for their Boast Beer. It’s a Session Ale made with the combination of Kolsch yeast, German malts and American hops – a grapefruit flavor with pine and moss notes.
