Hearth and Tap Co, the new gastropub in Montvale, is now open for business. Owner Fintan Seeley — who also owned the previous Porter House — has ditched the steakhouse for a more casual dining experience, along with a new focus of “craft food and drink”.

The seasonal, farm-to-table menus (Dinner Menu; Lunch Menu) from Chef Paul Bazzini — utilizing purveyors with an approximate 60-70 mile radius like Goffle Farms — is designed to stress that good food doesn’t need to be expensive. The menu includes many dished cooked in their wood-burning oven — like flatbreads and skillets — plus a bar with a focus on craft beer and craft cocktails.
