Red Robin Introduces the “Wedgie” that Gives Back

Red Robin

With resolutions on the mind of many, Red Robin is now offering it’s newest limited-time menu item, The Wedgie Burger. The Wedgie Burger is a 450 calorie burger stacked with bacon, guacamole, tomato and red onions inside a lettuce wedge bun.  To coincide with the roll out, Red Robin is partnering with the DUDE. Be Nice Project and giving guests an opportunity to support the initiative by giving a “wedgie” to their friends.

Through February 7th, a portion of the proceeds for each Wedgie Burger gifted via an e-gift card will be given to the DBN Project to help recognize community members who inspire positivity and encourage young people to be kind to one another.

“Red Robin is proud to partner with the DUDE. Be Nice Project, an initiative that is very much in line with our BURGER values,” said Denny Marie Post, Red Robin’s executive vice president and chief concept officer. “While the Wedgie Burger speaks to Red Robin’s playful tone, we are serious when it comes to encouraging kind-heartedness and are excited to give our guests the opportunity to help support acts of kindness.”
