Kimchi Smoke BBQ and Big Papa Smokem are headed to local brewery NJ Beer Company on Friday December 4th from 5pm to 9pm. NJ Beer Co is located on 4201 Tonnelle Avenue in North Bergen.

The two Bergen County barbecue companies will be bringing some of their signature dishes including Big Papa’s 18hr cherry and oak wood smoked whole hog on a bun — stacked high with slaw and pickles — plus their candy coated Porter Mac and Cheese, which will have pork belly with a NJ Beer Co’s Porter Beer glaze.

As for Kimchi Smoke, Chef Robert Austin Cho will be bringing his Chonut — which received its second award at the Beer BBQ and Bacon Festival in Waterloo Village this past October — the first being at the Monmouth Park Food Truck Fest back in May. The sandwich consists of 12hr smoked brisket, hickory smoked kimchi, cheddar cheese, and bacon on a glazed donut from Glaze Donuts in New Milford. In addition, Cho will be offering his Smoked Kimchi’li featuring beans, smoked kimchi, and smoked brisket.
