nooshi Jon, a “Mediterranean BBQ” restaurant promising “food to nourish the soul”, has come to Route 17 South in Paramus. This “Chipotle of Mediterranean BBQ” is a fast casual concept according to the owners. The menu (View Menu) features pitas (filled with rice), salads (over a bed of lettuce) or plates (platter over rice) with choice of grilled kabobs (beef, chicken, shrimp – tofu is coming) . Each are served with sides (see below). Other items will include stews and some seasonal items.

Throw in an open kitchen — plus a grab and go section and juice bar — and you’ve got an idea of what this concept is about. They are open seven days a week currently with temporary hours of 11am-2pm and then at 5:30pm-8:30pm.
