Dave Finkelstein from Fink’s BBQ in Dumont and his right hand Robert Gant have opened Fink’s BBQ and Cheesesteak Roadhouse in Suffern. The menu will feature most of the Fink’s classics with some new BBQ additions like pork belly and beef brisket – with the brisket being available like the beef rib in Dumont, only in the evening.

The cheesesteaks on the menu include their classic version of the sandwich, a version with pit roast beef, another with smoked pork loin and garlicky greens, and one with a vegetarian mushroom medley. The cheesesteaks are available on a hero, a half hero, over a salad, in a wrap, or in a romaine heart. There are also be some new apps like steamed clams and crab cakes.

As usual their desserts are all homemade plus the lunch menu and changing daily specials include their homemade gumbos, soups and chilies.

There is a full service bar which isstocked with all the usual suspects as well as ingredients for a few modern classics like homemade sour mix, many freshly made flavored syrups for creative cocktails and sweet teas – plus candied bacon for their Bacon Old Fashioned.

The space has been tweaked with a new wooden bar, new paint in the entire space and more.
