Pearl Ridgewood Now Serving Villa Milagro Vineyards Wine

wine-free

Pearl Restaurant, located one block from the Ridgewood Train Station, has joined the ranks of bring-your-own restaurants in New Jersey that will now carry wine made in New Jersey and offered for sale by the winery. Wineries are allowed to open up to sixteen wine “outlets” in restaurants that do not have a liquor license.

“Because of the limited number of wine outlets allowed, we chose restaurants carefully before offering our wines there,” says Audrey Gambino, owner and winemaker at Villa Milagro Vineyards. “Pearl Restaurant has a quality approach to food preparation just as we do in hand-making our wines.”

Pearl Restaurant which opened in 2011 is known for “from scratch” preparation. “We don’t own a microwave, fryer or freezer,” says owner Massimo Viola. “Our chef prepares everything fresh and by hand, including our handmade pastas.”

Villa Milagro Vineyards is located on the banks of the Delaware River in Finesville, NJ. This part of the state has been designed by the federal government as a prime winegrowing region, known as the Warren Hills Appellation. “Soils, climate and our proximity to the Musconetcong and Delaware Rivers produce perfect conditions for growing premium wine grapes,” says Gambino.
