NJ Ranks Low on Thrillist Local Beer Rankings

Those crafty folks over at Thrillist have Ranked Every State in the US by their Beer. Quantity and quality were both listed as important criteria, but quality weighed more according to the article — Oregon was ranked #1. Unfortunately New Jersey only topped out at #42 — and was made fun of it’s “Red Bull-vodka” addiction (Note: They did name Atlantic Highlands brewery Carton the best in the state back in July). New York ranked at #9, getting lifted by upstate breweries (Ommegang, Captain Lawrence) and naturally Brooklyn.
