National Burger Month may be over, but The Daily Meal chose June to reveal their The 101 Best Burgers in America for 2015. These rankings removed chain spots and were built from suggestions from various burger authorities on the subject, online reviews, existing best-of lists (print and online) – they also took the results of a panel of 70 noted writers, journalists, bloggers, and other culinary authorities.

Jersey representatives were fairly low on the list: the Slam Burger (cheeseburger dressed with fried onion rings, lettuce, tomato, and Russian dressing) at Holiday Snack Bar in Beach Haven (#97) and the sliders at Bergen County’s very own White Manna in Hackensack (#83).
