According to a report by northjersey.com, gourmet market Zeytinia — which once operated in Englewood (now CVS) and Oakland — is looking to the new developers of the American Dream (formerly Xanadu) project in East Rutherford to honor their original lease.

Though other tidbits have trickled out regarding food/dining tenants at the long delayed retail project — their website is promoting celebrity chefs, an upscale gourmet food hall and the world’s first exclusive kosher food hall.

It’s unclear if Zeytinia plans to open at American Dream anymore — with few active outlets, the closes in Bergen County and at least one other closing in Westchester. What looks to be their lone location in Atlantic City according to the their website — does appear operational with fairly recent Yelp reviews.
