Benito Rivero of Casual Habana Cafe in Hackensack, has opened his second location in New Milford, replacing Main Street Grille.  Rivero studied at the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC and worked in some city restaurants (Latour, Craftsteak) before opening in Hackensack. The restaurant made our Top 5 Most Anticipated restaurant list for 2015 — 3 of those are now open, 2 still in the works.

An an intense renovation of the space, the restaurant and bar features a dedicated tapas bar/lounge plus a dining room with a dedicated Cuban menu. The menu (see below) is includes expanded offerings from Hackensack ― with the addition of a liquor license — the bar specializes in mojitos, daiquiris and sangrias.
