The other half of Palermo Cafe in Little Ferry — the top half — has opened in the form of The Cake Lounge. The contemporary Italian restaurant and modern lounge was inspired by classic Italian cuisine with a sweet twist.

They are serving full lunch and dinner options (see menu below), including homemade pastas and seasonal ingredients. The dessert menu draws inspiration from their pastry and cake heritage including the featured “caketini” menu. A full bar of wine selections are also available, with 20 served by the glass.

The Cake Lounge is open 7 days a week — till midnight Tuesday-Wednesday, 2:00am Thursday-Saturday and 9:00pm Sunday. Reservatons can be made via OpenTable.
