UNoodles Snack Bar in Haverstraw and Murasaki in Nyack were named to Where to find the best ramen in Westchester, Rockland by lohud.com this winter 2015. The newspaper’s food blog ‘Small Bites’ did the honors, breaking their choices down into 10 categories: Best meat, Best date night, Best to eat alone, Best quick lunch, Best broth, Best for kids, Best vegetarian, Best for spice lovers, Best modern twist, Best gluten-free.

UNoodles was named in the ‘Best modern twist’ category, while Murasaki is deemed ‘Best Date Night’. The paper also did a full feature on ramen this week, including some insights from hot NYC ramen chef of the moment — and Westchester resident — Ivan Orkin of his namesake Ivan Ramen restaurant.
