Miami’s POC (Port of Call) American Fusion Buffet & Sushi (which already delayed it’s opening date twice), opened its first Mega Buffet location in Hackensack. The eatery from chefs Kevin Z (Nobu, Sushi Samba) and Chef Benjamin Huselton (David Burke) blends Asian and European culinary traditions with “modern American influences”.

The menu’s handcrafted dishes are made using fresh ingredients, preserving a “balance of aroma, texture and taste”. The Vegas-style, 13,000 square foot restaurant seats 400 and is “sleek and contemporary” space which “imparts a tranquil and comforting ambiance”.

The restaurant is open 7 days for lunch and dinner plus weekend brunch. Weekday lunch hours are from 11:30am – 2:30pm, weekend brunch from 11:30am – 3:30pm, dinner from 5pm-9:30pm on Mondays through Thursdays from 5pm-10:30pm Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday dinner runs from 5pm-9:30pm.
