Porto By Antonio, the restaurant serving Neapolitan pies and pasta from Antonio Dinis, has opened in North Bergen. Tucked along Old River Road, though its directly across the street from many high profile Edgewater retail destinations (City Place, Edgewater Plaza).

Dinis is a well-seasoned chef who’s traveled through Italy and NYC honing his pizza craft. He’s spent extensive time working under master pizzaolas from all across the globe – with his wood oven pies are cooked in an imported oven from Naples at 900 degrees.

The menu (View Menu) is a pretty straightforward affair of pizza, pasta, salad ― there’s even the lightly fried Montarana pizza that was all the rage a few years back in NYC ― plus serving a Pizza Al Taglio, which involves a twice baked dough. The restaurant is open 7 days a week for both lunch and dinner.
