Lan Sheng’s NYC Location Loses Michelin Star

Lan Sheng, the Sichuan (Szechuan) restaurant that opened February in Wallington, has seen it’s sister restaurant in Manhattan (same name) stripped of it’s one Michelin star with today’s announcement of the Michelin Guide NYC 2015. Of course this probably won’t affect the restaurant on this side of the Hudson all that much ― the restaurant in Wallington has been praised with a number of excellent reviews (tommy:eats) since the opening.

Lan Sheng was not the only Sichuan dining option to open in Bergen County this year, River Edge restaurant Joyce Chinese Cuisine opened to it’s own good reviews this April.
