Opening Alert: Brownstone Pancake Factory, Edgewater, NJ

brownstone_93

The previously reported offshoot of Jersey City’s Brownstone Diner & Pancake Factory ― Brownstone Panacke Factory ― has opened in Edgewater. It’s an attempt to open a “casual and cool” breakfast/lunch spot, as owner Bobby Bournias and his wife Vanessa DeLeon live in town and feel there is a void to be filled.

Located in the space formerly Vespas and Anthony’s Italian Bistro, the menu (View Menu) will be very similar to the one in Jersey City. This includes the pancakes, which were featured on NBC and Diner’s Drive-ins & Dives (including inclusion in Guy Fieri’s book), plus some healthier options (cold pressed juices and “green” bowls) championed by DeLeon (who’s also the restaurant’s designer). The 150 seat restaurant is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
