Dolce & Salato, a new Argentinian bakery, has opened in Englewood. Owner Jorge Palacio is new to the business, but has had his chefs training at Rombiolo Bakery in Bloomfield.

According to Palacio, the bakery is similar in style to Italian, with all their baked goods being homemade and made from scratch. This includes many sweet and savory cookies, pastries and more. Items will include croissants, sandwiches, baked empanadas, personal pizzas and tartas ( a stuffed triangular pie).

Drinks will feature all espresso drinks, real fruit smoothies and healthy smoothies (think vegetable and greens). Coffee products come from a purveyor in Portugal. The bakery will be open 7 days week, 6am-10pm Monday-Saturday and 8am-6pm on Sundays.
