Update: Lan Garden Ridgeifield has opened

It’s been 8 months since the sign went up at the former China 46 location in Ridgefield, announcing that a new Chinese restaurant was forthcoming. Construction has progressed, though no details have emerged until now, though mostly speculative.

The sign for the restaurant has changed (see above). The restaurant appears to still be named Lan Garden, but the sub heading reads “Fine Chinese Cuisine”. Previously the sign (see below) sub-heading read “Specializing in Seafood & Dim Sum”. Change in focus? Ownership? All of those remain unanswered, including a date when the restaurant will open.
