Update: Teaneck Doghouse has opened

Teaneck Doghouse, a Kosher sports bar (and first/only in Bergen County), is slated to open in Teaneck at 1415 Palisade Avenue in Teaneck (formerly Vinny O’s) as the northern area along Queen Anne Rd and Palisade Ave continues to be a major Kosher restaurant hub.

According to owner Jonathan Gellis, they will have a traditional bar menu like pulled bbq meat sandwiches and meatball subs. As far as the booze, they are working to add some micro-brews to their beer rotation and expect to offer 6-8 different wines with sangria being available during the summer.

The room will feature 28 TVs (including the bathrooms) showing all sporting events. They will be open till 1:00AM on non-Friday nights (other than Saturday when they’ll close at 3:00AM) or till West Coast games are completed. As expected, they will be closed from Friday night till sundown on Saturday — though when open, the kitchen will operate till midnight.
