Jersey Mike’s Subs, the fast-casual sub sandwich franchise originally started in Point Pleasant, is on an agressive plan to open 300 stores in the US this year alone. According to the coming soon area of their website, that includes Bergen County locations in both Northvale and Ramsey.

The chain, which has 1,300 locations open and under development nationwide, serves a line of freshly sliced subs on freshly baked bread – using the same recipes since 1956 (view menu). Though no timeline has been revealed, hiring has begun for the franchises.
