Kocher’s Market, which has risen from the former Kocher’s in Ridgefield, has officially opened in Fort Lee. The market is being run by former Kocher’s employee Howard Haag, who has brought the entire product line of German meats, sausages and much more over from the old shop. “For those who were worried, we’ll have everyone’s favoirtes available” says Haag. The former owners will continue to sell their products online, with shipping to out of state customers.

A large glass enclosed walk-in (at least for the butchers) meat case has been installed ― featuring all of their fresh-cut meats ― including the grinding for the homemade sausages, hot dogs and burgers. Haag has also added a a full deli counter, with made-to-order sandwiches, salads homemade salads and more. Bread is also baked in house, which is also a carryover from the old store.

Kocher’s Market is open Tuesdays thru Saturdays 9:00am-6:30pm and Sundays 9:00am-2:00pm.
