Opening Alert: Eric’s Steak House, Palisades Park, NJ

eric_steakhouse_02

With over 15 years in the restaurant business, owner Eric Hong came to the US eight months ago to open Eric’s Steak House, a Korean-style steakhouse in Palisades Park which launched a few days ago. He runs a similar restaurant in South Korea, which shares some of the menu, though Hong has launched with a base, offering a smaller selection of dishes with the expectation that he’ll add more as time allows.

The menu is a mix of Korean steaks ― which are typically covered in sauce explained Hong ― and more traditional American-style steaks using both USDA Choice and Prime cuts. All cuts are cooked on the grill, no oven work according to Hong. The menu and it’s prices (see below) differ from American steakhouses as they include bread, salad, soup, which are typically sold a la carte. That being said, there are a few a la carte salads on the dinner menu.

The 40 (approx ) seat restaurant is open 7 days for lunch and dinner. Eric’s Steakhouse is BYO.
