After a successful rollout of their Shepherd’s Pie empanada in March, Empanada Mania in Bergenfield is continuing the trend with a new Empanada of the Month going forward. With the popular demand of their regular flavors like buffalo chicken and chicken quesadilla, owner Galo Grijalva feels the Empanada of the Month will help keep the menu fresh.

French Onion Soup will be the Empanada of the Month for April 2014 (each month will be announced on their Facebook Page). It features Angus beef blended with a sautéed onion medley and mixed with a provolone & mozzarella blend. It’s available all month long beginning today for $2 wach ($19.99 a dozen)
