After a major renovation featuring reclaimed wood interiors, what was once Bistro 55 is now The Dog And Cask. The 150-seat “all things craft” restaurant from owner David Parker will open tonight for the first time with a “locally-sourced” food menu of “inventive pub grub” from Chef Jason Ramos (Bernards Inn, Pluckemin Inn). The bar also features heavily on the craft theme, with small batch spirits, craft beer, boutique wines (from low volume vineyards), cask wine and barrel aged cocktails. The Dog and Cask is open daily for dinner Mondays thru Saturdays from 4:00pm till 1:30am and Sundays from 4:00pm till 10:00pm. Happy Hour with food and drink specials runs Monday-Friday from 4:00pm-7:00pm with a Happier Hour Monday-Saturday from 10pm-midnight. All menus and specials are viewable online at their website.
