Update: Molos Greek Restaurant Weehawken is now open

Molos Estiatorio, a Greek-inspired seafood restaurant, will be opening sometime this fall (probably in 3-4 weeks) in Weehawken, NJ. The restaurant has taken residence in the former spot of Arthur’s Landing with waterfront dining, seasonal menus and more from the proudly Greek ownership.

Born of a partnership by Eliana Stefanitsis and her father, the restaurant is being run by industry vets, with operations headed by GM Yianni Pardalis (Oceana, Molyvos) and chef Athanasios Liavas bringing his classically trained culinary work which has run the gamut from hotels to yachts.

The entire restaurant has been gut-renovated and includes both a 150 seat dining room and 160 seat private room on the building’s second floor. Both rooms will have a bar, as will the outdoor patio.

The menu will be a “fresh and clean take” on traditional Greek dishes with whole seasonal fish on display. Oysters and other seafood with change daily depending on availability. The entire bar will feature only craft beers (no Budweiser folks), a wine list of Greek, American, French and Italian wines, plus cocktails using fresh fruits and more.

The restaurant will be open 7 days for dinner and have valet parking. Expect more details over the next few weeks as we get finalized menus and a concrete opening date.
