NYC Michelin Guide Restaurants Announced 2014

MICHELIN BEST RESTAURANTS

The exclusive list of Michelin starred restaurants is now available for 2014 in New York City (Michelin chose NYC as the first American city it would cover with it’s ratings back in 2005). The annual guide ranks restaurants with one star, two stars or three stars. A Michelin three-star rating is considered the peak honor in the culinary world, with just over 100 restaurants in the world currently having this distinction.

For 2014, sixty-seven New York restaurants received a star rating, which is the most awarded since the NYC guide began.  A total of 930 restaurants are included in the guide (many restaurants receive a mention, but no star… still considered a high honor), which spans the city’s five boroughs.  For a full list of starred restaurants, visit http://michelinmedia.com/news/michelin-releases-2014-new-york-city-guide
