The sign has gone up on Palisade Avenue for Boomerang’s (in the storefront most recently housed U Pie Company), a Caribbean and Soul Food restaurant that should be opening soon in Englewood. Based on the logo and branding, this appears to be related to the Boomerang’s in Hackensack on Main Street.

According to their website, the restaurant specializes in Caribbean and Soul food (naturally) with daily lunch specials. The Caribbean menu focuses mainly on Jamaican cuisine and the soul food is “hearty southern style” food. One of the specialties is “Boom Boom Lemonade” which has flavors that change daily.
