Punzone Vodka Turns One, Expands Further in NJ

Punzoné, an Italian organic vodka, is turning one-years old this month and is celebrating with a menu of simple and natural artisanal cocktail creations.

Punzoné continues to grow and is popping up in local restaurants and retailers, including all Total Wine locations in New Jersey, Stew Leonard’s and Italian restaurant Villa Amalfi Ristorante in Cliffside Park.

In the 2013 awards season, Punzoné won a number of accolades  including the first organic vodka recipient of the 5-Star Diamond Award by the Academy of Hospitality Sciences. They were also awarded a Gold Medal by the Beverage Testing Institute and a Snooth People’s Voice Award in the Spirits Edition.

To complement the brand’s expansion, the team at Punzoné felt obligated to create a simple-to-formulate cocktail menu using seasonal farm fresh ingredients (preferably organic) including their Punzone Blackberry Gumlet (recipe below).
