Looking for info on the Jerseyfest Food Truck Mashup on May 31, 2014 at The Meadowlands?
For those who follow Boozy Burbs, unless you were living under a rock… you know that yesterday Exposure North Jersey (the events and community hosting arm of North Jersey Media Group) held a Food Truck Mash-Up. The FoodTruck Mash-Up, which was heldat Overpeck Park, ran from 4:00-10:00pm and featured 18+ trendy food trucks, live local music and other vendors as part of the celebration.
The official estimates arerangingfrom 8,000 to 10,000 attendees, which might be on the high side, but a huge crowd did come in full force to support the event. For those who were able to handle the traffic jams on Fort Lee Road, un-ample parking and hour+ line waits… some where actually able to get food. In fact, chatter on social media during the event showed that many were stuck in traffic, with quite a number changing plans andavoidingthe event altogether.
Lombardi Pizza Co. had sold out around 7:15pm
People anxiously awaiting their food from The Cow & The Curd
That’s not to say the event wasn’t a success. Many of the trucks haveannouncedhuge sales and the eventorganizershave already said a follow up event is in the works, with kinks being ironed out toavoidsome of this event’s pitfalls.
