Myung Dong Noodle House Brings Homemade Noodles to Fort Lee

Myung Dong Noodle House is a recently-opened (mid-March) homemade Korean noodle shop in Fort Lee. Their specialty is Kalguksu, a chicken soup consisting of knife-cut wheat flour noodles, pork dumplings and ground chicken. The menu is quite small, with five options of this noodle soup (with hot and cold varieties), pork mandu (Korean-style dumplings) and bulgogi (which is served as a ground beef patty, not the typical way served in Korean BBQ restaurants). As with most Korean establishments, banchan (side dishes; in this case in the form of kimchi) are served with the meal.

Myung Dong’s menu announces in very large type that all noodles and dumplings are made in house and that additional food items will be coming soon. Myung Dong appears to be a chain of some sort (the wall has a sign revealing them to be “the taste of Korean since 1966”), but there doesn’t appear to be any other info in store to confirm this.
