Al’s Charcoal Pit Rises from Louie’s Ashes in Teaneck
A story that we’ve been following for a while now since the closing of long time Cedar Lane institution Louie’s Charcoal Pit, is that a former waiter was planning on opening his own restaurant to fill Louie’s cuisine void in the area. Teaneck Patch has reported that the new restaurant, Al’s Charcoal Pit is open as of Sunday next to Victor’s Pizzeria. They are serving the same diner-style menu (with breakfast, sandwiches, salads, various entrees) from Louie’s and offer delivery from 7:30am till 10:30pm.
