Another regional/national chain selling burgers, fries and shakes has come to Bergen County? Surprised? Probably not. Jake’s Wayback Burgers is the latest entry into the “better burger” options around, serving never frozen, fresh beef burgers. With an aggressive expansion plan putting openings around 2 per week in 2013, Jake’s is primed to add to its number of metro area units already in operation (Brooklyn, Long Island).

The hand-made burgers are sold in 1, 2 or 3 patty versions with or without cheese. All burgers are cooked to order as Jake’s expects waits of approximately 5-8 minutes for your food. Free condiments and toppings include ketchup mustard, pickle, onions, lettuce, tomato, mayo, grilled onions, relish and sweet peppers. Mushroom and chili are extra.

A specialty section of 3-4 composed burger options tempt those looking for the unique options of the chain. Also available are specialty sandwiches (turkey, veggie, chicken), hot dogs, salads and hand-dipped shakes. Onion rings, fries and house-made potato chips round out the menu. There is also a monthly burger and milkshake promotion that rotates every 30 days.
