Starting this Friday and running through the weekend, all Bergen Smashburgers (Hackensack, Paramus and Ramsey) will be offering a free side when you purchase their Black Bean Burger in celebration of Black Friday.

From their marketing materials:
Smashburger’s Black Bean Burger is a handcrafted, made-from-scratch patty, smashed, seared and seasoned on the grill. Smashfans can choose any of the delicious signature smashburger or chicken recipes, or select a create your own with a variety of buns, sauces and toppings. Consumers will also have a variety of irresistible sides to choose from including its rosemary and garlic–seasoned Smashfries, and Sweet Potato Smashfries.

The most interesting piece of this news to US is that Smashburger in Hackensack (The Shops at Riverside) will be opening at 9am (this Friday-Sunday) and is serving a special breakfast menu. The menu includes egg and cheese sandwiches with choice of bacon or ham. According to Wikipedia, Smashburger used to sell breakfast (presumably before they expanded to NJ) but does not currently chain-wide.
